Westonka Public Schools welcomes visits to school buildings and school property by parents and community members provided the visits are consistent with the health, education and safety of students and employees and are conducted within the procedures and requirements established by the school district. Important items to note:

• All Westonka Public Schools buildings and athletic fields are tobacco-free environments. 

• Westonka Public Schools prohibits the presence of pets on its playgrounds and play areas; athletic fields; outdoor learning spaces; and at all school district events. Exceptions can be made for trained service animals. School rules will govern the presence of service animals within school buildings. 

• No student or non-student, including adults and visitors, shall possess, use or distribute a weapon when in a school location or during any school sponsored activity.
