The Westonka boys golf team turned in another busy stretch of competition, highlighted by a third-place finish at the Section 5AA preview at Pebble Creek Golf Club on April 30.

The Westonka boys tennis teams are showing resilience and promise early this season, with the varsity squad battling through a challenging schedule and earning a key win over Waconia. Meanwhile, the JV team has surged to an undefeated start.

The Westonka track & field team kicked off the 2026 season with a trio of meets, culminating with the Orono Spartan Invitational on April 16.

At the 62nd Annual Minnesota Football Coaches Association Awards Banquet on March 28, Westonka’s Mike “Wally” Wallace was honored with the prestigious Butch Nash Award, becoming the first coach in program history to receive it. The award recognizes assistant coaches across Minnesota for their loyalty, integrity, and long-standing excellence in the game.

Senior Cooper Rowe cemented his place among the greatest wrestlers in Westonka High School history, capturing his third consecutive state wrestling championship.

Westonka High School senior Eren Alemdar delivered a record-breaking performance at the 2026 MSHSL Boys Class A Swim & Dive Championships, competing as an individual in the 100-yard backstroke.
