New Parking Lot Procedures at Westonka High School

As we continue to enhance our student, community and staff experience, our parking lots have been redesigned to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and, most importantly, increase safety for students, families, staff, and buses.
Please take a few minutes to review the information below before you arrive for your first practice on Monday, August 17.
Parent Drop-Off/Pick-Up
Parent drop-off/pick-up now operates as a one-way traffic pattern. Parents dropping off/picking up students should enter campus using the Northwest Entrance from Sunnyfield Road.
Once on campus, follow the posted signs to the designated parent drop-off/pick-up area.
- The Drop Off/Pick Up Lane, the lane closest to the building, is the designated student drop-off/pick-up lane.
- After your student exits, merge into the Thru Lane, the designated exit lane.
- The Thru Lane is for moving traffic only. Please do not stop or wait in this lane.
Student-Athlete Drivers
Students driving to school should enter campus using the Northeast Entrance off of Sunnyfield Road (near the electronic sign) and enter the parking and proceed directly to the student parking lot. Please drive slowly, follow all posted signs, and remain alert for pedestrians.
Student-Athlete drivers may leave campus by either:
- Exiting through the Northeast Exit (by the electronic sign), returning through the same route used upon arrival, or
- Exiting through the Northwest Exit onto Sunnyfield Road.
Sports/Activity Buses
Sports/Activity buses will pick-up and drop-off students in the designated bus area.
