Guest Mystery Reader with Students

Westonka parents and guardians play an active and invaluable role in supporting student success—both in and out of the classroom.

Our parent volunteers support our schools in many caring and important ways, in the classroom, on field trips, as members of parent teacher organizations, serving as mentors and coaches, with their financial contributions, and most importantly as a partner in your child’s emotional and educational growth.

If you're not already involved, we encourage you to get started today! Please contact your child's teacher or school principal to learn more about volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer Background Checks

To help ensure a safe and supportive environment for students, all volunteers are asked to review the Volunteer Expectations and Responsibilities and submit the acknowledgement form. This form can be accessed through your Skyward Family Account.
 
A background check is also required for all Tier 1 volunteers prior to volunteering. If you are unsure whether the district has one on file, please contact Human Resources at 952-491-8058.
 
All forms and background checks must be completed at least 5 school days before the activity.
